Ridgefield Residence

An expansive property surrounded by open fields, a wetland and mountain views. Ornamental and drought tolerant plants with year round interest were planted closer to the home while more native planting surrounded the outskirts of the property. Click here for more details and images.

West Linn Estate

A single-family residence located in West Linn, OR. A design that included a flagstone patio with fire pit and sitting walls, landscape planting, restoration planting along the creek, and reconfigured lawn areas. Click here for more details and images.

 

Mountain Road Residence

This sweeping landscape includes a fire pit area, pool, guesthouse and fruit trees. A low maintenance property with an emphasis on evergreen was important for this client. Click here for more details and images.

 

Country Club Drive

A single family residence located on a golf course needed a refresh on an already established landscape. Colorful, fragrant flowers were included in the design around the patio and walkways. Click here to see more pictures and details.



 

Seattle Rooftop Garden

Single family residence in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle WA, with a rooftop English garden with a bluestone paver patio, and surrounded by formal boxwood and colorful perennials. Click here to see more details and photos.

 

Holmes Residence

The design for this Oregon City home was centered around creating a dynamic entertainment space between the patio, lawn and pool areas. Click here for more details and images.

Meridian Way Residence

Old River Landing

This client was located within a 100-year floodplain of the Willamette River and permits were needed to construct landscaping improvements. Click here to see more details and photos.

 

Queen Anne Residence

Designed to provide a unified landscape between a newly-constructed guest house and the homeowner’s adjacent 1924 Seattle home, the planting consists of: Deciduous and evergreen trees, shrubs, Rhododendrons, grasses, climbers, bulbs, perennials, ground covers, herbs, ferns and vegetables. Click here for more details and images.

Pavillion

A small backyard with a significant sloping embankment, the design here required the use of retaining walls to push back the slope, with the goal of gaining a pavilion and lawn area. The pavilion is designed to be easily accessed from the house. Click here to see details of this project with more photos.

West Linn English Garden

An English style garden was designed using a series of gravel and flagstone paths. The flower beds themselves were planted with a variety of colorful perennials that will attract hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. A combination of evergreen and herbaceous plants were used to create year-long interest. New wood pergolas help define the main path. Click here for more details and images.

Canby Residence

In Canby OR, the design allowed for creating a seating patio, level lawn and terrace slope. The hardscape included Columbia Slate patio pavers, dry-stack basalt stone retaining wall, adding a fire pit and variegated bluestone pavers. Click here for more details and images.

West Linn Dog Friendly Yard

The back yard of this single-family residence was re-designed focusing on improving water drainage on the site, maximizing lawn space, and choosing pet and child-friendly plants to complement the hardscape. Click here to see more details and photos.

 

Milwaukie Residence

A single family residence located in Milwaukie, OR. A design that included a paver patio with retaining seating walls, pitched fence, gravel paths, level lawn area, shade garden, colorful planting beds, espalier apple trees such as Asian Pears, Golden Delicious. Click here for more details and images.

 

Tualatin Side Yard

A stepping stone garden path was designed to connect the front yard to the back yard. The material selection compliments the existing stone retaining wall and picket fence. Click here to see details of this project with more photos.

 

19th Street Home
