This beautiful property is surrounded by open fields, wetlands and has spectacular mountain views. The goal of this client was to create an eco-friendly design that complemented the natural landscape. We incorporated boulders and elevation changes around the home for interest in the topography. We also designed multiple pathways around the property to connect different planting areas. Some features of interest included the roundabout at the front of the home which included Weeping Nootka Cypress, Evergreen huckleberry and Oregon Grape.  The grotto was created to maintain mountain views out to the field and the meditation maze was surrounded by beautiful perennials and shrubs like Lilac, Abelia, Lavender and Weigela. Shrub and tree planting is nestled into the rock placement throughout the property.
