Wilcox & Arredondo
This commercial landscape renovation focused on developing a cohesive, low-maintenance planting strategy within the existing landscape beds. The original plantings had become overgrown, obstructing windows and sightlines, while others had declined due to disease, insect pressure, or failed entirely, leaving large areas of exposed soil. The new planting design responds to the building’s architecture, with plants selected for their mature size to maintain clear views through windows and fit comfortably within the existing planting beds without requiring excessive pruning. A consistent planting palette establishes a cohesive landscape vocabulary that visually unifies the property. Colorful plantings around the business signage provide visual interest and help draw attention to the business. We also converted an underutilized courtyard planting bed into a small seating patio, creating a welcoming outdoor space for customers and employees.
