Willamette Falls Bike Kiosk

Clement Walsh Landscape Architect, Inc. partnered with the Historic Willamette Main Street’s Design Committee to design a functional and visually captivating bike kiosk in downtown West Linn, Oregon. This inviting rest stop for cyclists, complete with a sheltered bench and bike repair station, embodies the community’s commitment to accessibility, sustainability, and thoughtful design. Our process began with a thorough review of site conditions, presentation of concept images, and a detailed site analysis to identify opportunities and constraints. A preliminary layout was crafted, incorporating elements such as the repair station, benches, and signage, with input from the City of West Linn and the advisory group shaping the final design. We collaborated with Oregon Corrections Enterprises, Watton Design Works, and Hartung Glass to seamlessly integrate practical infrastructure with artistic expression, enriching the cultural vibrancy of West Linn.
