A stepping-stone garden path was designed to connect the front yard to the back yard. The material selection complements the existing stone retaining wall and picket fence. Planting was selected to soften the path and the retaining wall. Step-able ground cover and shady garden plants were chosen to create a woodland garden path below. A combination of shrubs, perennials, and ground cover was selected above the wall to soften but not obscure the walls and fence.
