This beautiful property is surrounded by open fields and wetlands, offering spectacular mountain views. The client’s goal was to create an eco-friendly design that complemented the natural landscape. We incorporated boulders and elevation changes around the home to add interest to the topography. Multiple pathways were designed to connect different planting areas across the property. Notable features include the roundabout at the front of the home, which features Weeping Nootka Cypress, Evergreen Huckleberry, and Oregon Grape. The grotto was designed to maintain mountain views out to the field, and beautiful perennials and shrubs like Lilac, Abelia, Lavender, and Weigela surround the meditation maze. Shrub and tree plantings are nestled into the rock placement throughout the property.
